Afonso Dias lawyer had appealed to the Supreme Court that upheld a sentence of three years of actual prison for his client for kidnapping crime of the young Rui Pedro. Paulo Gomes said at the time the Lusa agency that the feature he would introduce the Constitutional Court has suspensive effect, so that Afonso Dias continue to wait for completion of the process in freedom.
