Rail back to 2m suits Metaphotical, can get nice run behind speed. $2.35 Ladbrokes. R3 #1 ROUGH JUSTICE, drawn for gun run, ran second to Risen from Doubt in Schweppes Stakes. Always a fan of the toppy over the short trips at the Valley, especially if the lead (think Buffering). $2.10 Ladbrokes, has been supported. R4 #6 KAISER SUN, lightly raced and saves his best fresh. First up here from a good barrier, if he jumps well can lead and had strong turn of foot. $2.50 Ladbrokes, has had support. R5 #1 AMAVERDE. Can’t split him and Averau, but we know Amaverde will lead. Hopefully it’s a soft lead! $2.70 Ladbrokes. R6 #7 MOSCOW PEARL, such a tough race to judge, but banking on her form behind Red Bomber (beating home Praesentia and Metaphorical) to stack up here. Harry Coffey gets a claim, she’s suited to 1600m and track seems no issue. $4.40 Ladbrokes, in wide leg of quad. R7 #3 HOTEL SIERRA. Going to bet around Shamalia with the top weight because she doesn’t lead. Hotel Sierra ran second behind the very smart Sweet Emily over the 955m. Big weight drop, loves the Valley and could get the 1-1 sit. $6 is value. R8 #3 ILGATTINO, gets the soft draw and the weight claim. When the others are fighting for the lead, he’ll get a good trail and finish strong over the top.
