Damron Sandra C. Sandi Sandra C. (Leach) Damron, 53, of Toledo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, on Wednesday, August 6. Sandi was born on September 24, 1961, to Carl and Barbara (Lusch) Leach. She was a waitress at local restaurants, retiring in 2004. It can be said that Sandi truly loved her children more than life itself. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, A & W cream soda, butterflies, and was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the San Francisco 49ers. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Melissa. She is survived by her children, Amanda, Jacob (Becki), and Wade Damron; her beloved granddaughter, Hunter; the only love of her life, ex-husband Jack Damron Jr.; sisters, Kateri (Bruce) Blair and Sheila (Raymond) Knight; and close friends Jill Ferree and Cathy Waugh. A special thank you to the loving, amazing, caring staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Services will be private and a wake will be held at the VFW located at 617 Second St. in East Toledo from 12-5 on Sunday, August 10. In lieu of flowers, donations for the family can be made to the Sandra Damron fund at any First Federal Bank or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
