Dan of Cry of the Water had this to say about the ugly grey sand they are placing on top of our beautiful beaches ....... We are very concerned about the quality of this material. I placed 3 inches of sand in a 23oz water bottle, added clean water from the shower and shook the bottle up. The water turned muddy, and stayed muddy for hours. It is now 5 hours later and the water is still not clear. There is a layer of muddy black-brown silt that has settled on top of the material.
