Danao Govt 5 hrs · In anticipation for typhoon Ruby (International Name: Hagupit), Danao City Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III called for a meeting today with the respective disaster risk reduction and management offices at the City Mayor’s Office today to implement necessary preparations. In order to speed up the planning, the offices were divided into different cluster heads for their specific functions: • CSWDO/ DepEd — Evacuation and Camp Management (ECM) • CSWDO — Food Security, Livelihood and Economic Aspects • CITY ADMIN — Water Sanitation (WATSAN) • CDRRMO — Logistics (coordinate resources, volunteers) • PNP —Security • CEO —Early Recovery • CHSO —Health and Nutrition(psycho- social care, medical) • DEPED —installation of school tents • BFP —fire, search, rescue, and retrieval Furthermore, classes tomorrow (Friday) until Saturday in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools in Danao City are suspended. Meanwhile, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines advises the public to stay away from NGCP’s high voltage transmission lines as precautionary measure before and during typhoon Ruby.
