Dancers, I have to say I’m returning to teaching with some reluctance. I don’t know what I’m going to draw on tonight to give you a class. The best I can do is so show up and see what happens. The worst I can do is stay home, static and unmoving as I have been for nearly two and half weeks. Tonight we will be dancing Sounding, a unique Nia routine that uses sound and movement to move energy through the body. The music tells the story of a warrior who returns home from battle, lays down his sword and learns to love again. It is a powerful metaphor anyone can apply to any challenge they are facing.
