Dancesafe would like to take the time to thank everyone who has supported us, everyone who has found some use and value from our services, our volunteers, our literature or anything else over the years a heartfelt THANK YOU! Without your help, Dancesafe would not be able to reach as many people as it does. With only 2.5 staff (Part timers ahoy!) most of us volunteer and have for years to make sure everyone is more aware and knowledgeable about the world around them. We have no formal funding except for what you provide to us through Donations and Kit Sales, and all of that goes back into working to improve what we have to offer. Soon enough you will see new literature on a variety of topics, new kits in the works as well as expanded chapter support and even Public Health Planning! (Did you know we number in our National Staff a PhD, a Masters in Public health as well as other degrees in Social Work and the public health area?). Our chapters are our backbone and we couldnt do this without them. They are the heart and soul of the organization, and when it comes down to it we are amazingly proud every day of all they accomplish with so little. They take their time, money, effort, occasionally even their livelihood; and sacrifice a lot, all as volunteers to do what they do. There is NO better way to show that you have decided to be a part of the change you want to see then being a part of a group such as this. Over the years, weve lost some of our DS family and friends, but weve gained so many more. Its hard to put it into words what these people mean to us. So go hug a Dancesafe Volunteer when you see them, they do it out of LOVE! So, we guess what we wanted to say was... We do what we do because we Love those we do it for, namely you. So to that end... please let us Thank EVERYONE (The list is far too large to put down).
