Dancing at the Gardens: Tango Sat., Nov 16 ~ 7 - 11:00PM ~ Sarah P. Duke Gardens Enjoy this rare opportunity to dance on the gorgeous wood floors of the Doris Duke Centers Kirby Horton Hall. Tango at the Gardens will feature DJs playing traditional and contemporary Argentine tango. Each dance will begin with a one-hour beginner lesson at 7 p.m., which is free with admission and open to people of all ages (16+). The lesson will provide you with basic moves that will serve you all night. You do not need any dance experience, nor exceptional grace or stamina, nor even a partner, just enthusiasm. You may dress up or come in jeans, but please wear low-heeled leather-soled shoes to protect your knees and our floor. Advance tickets may be purchased with cash, check or credit card.
