Dancing in the Sky For the last five years, we’ve hosted a remembrance service in November for families who have lost loved ones. This year, as we watched the balloons float away during our balloon launch, a young lady, who had just lost her brother, asked if she could share a song with the group. We said yes, and she proceeded pulled out her iPhone and play a song that was special to her. As the song progressed, her family clung to each other, everyone huddled close, and people started hugging and weeping together. There wasn’t a dry in the group. At that moment, I was reminded how powerful music can be. The song the young lady played for us was “Dancing in the Sky” by Dani and Lizzy. I have never heard that song before, but now, I will always remember the first time I heard it.
