Danger at my pond ! my neafew chase purchased a yellow lab pup, yellow. cute . around my house i have a deck with a pond. i just got out of my shower when i heard the pup barking, but she barks all the time playing with all the other dogs around. but after a minute her bark became a scream of pain and fright . i looked out my window and could not see maxi but the water had tiny waves in it ! fear ran threw me and science i live way out from town i just went with out clothes running to the pond and there was little maxi going under not even moving at all. my heart was pounding and i triped over rocks and was on the ground at the edge of my pond and maxi was under about a foot ! i thought i lost her. she had a tranning collar on her and as she was sinking i was able to reach my whole arm down far enough to grab her collar !!! i pulled her out and her eyes were open but had no life showing in them and she did not move or bark and i thought to my self she is dead.i just tried to wipe her down all over to warm he up and suddenly she moved a little, i just kept saying over and over come here Maxi come on lets go ? any thing that i do with her, i used- here ya go dinner, lets play ball come on girle wake up ? and a paw moved and then here tail and she opened her eyes partly so i put her on all four feet as i gave her a brisk rub down. suddenly she became awake and acted like nothing happened and boy was Maxi rubbing all over me and biting my leg and rubbing against me ? may be in her way was saying thank you ?
