Daniel Bugri Naaba as Chairman. Sule Salifu as Regional Secretary. Alhaji Hindu as Regional Organiser. Hajia Amama as Womens Organiser. Rashid COP as Youth Organiser. Chen chen as Regional Treasurer. Haruna Iddrisu as Asst Regional Secretary. It appears to me that the delegates only found it necessary to make some key substitutions to the position of Chairman and Secretary. So that to have as many as five incumbent executives retaining their positions it just tells me that the previous executives did not do badly at all. After all we went up from 3 to 10 seats. That is a fact. For all those who won, I congratulate them especially my good friend and inlaw Sule Salifu. I am sure the delegates have rewarded patience and dedicated service to party even if you were reduced to a mere foot soldier. That is the story of Bugri Naabu and Sule. But please please it will be wrong for anybody to assume that Alhaji Rufai, Dr Braimah and even Arun bins dont matter because they have lost. I have worked with all three and each one of them has something that they brought to the leadership of the party in the Region. I am sad that all three had to contest elections against each other and they have all lost. The wealth of experience they have garnered over the years is gone. For Alhaji Rufai and Dr Braimah in particular we need to find them roles quickly in this party. All that will depend on the posturing of the newly elected executives (Chairman and Secretary) .The early days are extremely crucial. The battle remains the Lords.
