Free is currently suffering setbacks that include widespread inflammation to his lungs, causing difficulty breathing, resulting in a pneumonia like condition, which does not allow enough oxygen into his blood... It is not caused by infection, so antibiotics will not treat it, and it does not respond to anti inflammatory medication. They are considering giving him a tracheostomy, if necessary, because his oxygen tube will now need to be in for an extended amount of time, because though countless procedures have been tried in many situations, over the years, nothing thus far, works to treat this condition besides a continuous oxygen supply to support the lungs, so that they can clear out and reduce inflammation on their own. It is not like muscle tissue or bone/teeth pain that can be treated with ibuprofen or the like. I just left the Doctor and the Respiratory nurse that were heightening their vigilance of him, and increased his sedative, due to elevated risk of continued setback. In addition to this, his liver, spleen, and kidneys shows signs of some damage due to the initial infection cause by fecal matter leaking into his abdomen, through perforations in his intestines, the resulting inflammation, and his capillaries excreting plasma widespread. There are indications that he may have suffered some neurological damage, but tests are at this point inconclusive and the doctor is not willing to say for sure, but that may be the case due to the trauma his body has endured. Keep him in your thoughts. Our boy is a very fragile state. Love to you all... 1
