Daniel Sturridge could return for Liverpool for the Merseyside derby after starting light training at Melwood. Sturridge was working with a physio today, away from his team-mates, as he steps up his recovery from the thigh injury he suffered on England duty. The striker, who has missed Liverpools last two games against Aston Villa and Ludogorets, could resume full training next week in time for the Reds clash with Everton at Anfield on September 27. Liverpool have missed Sturridges cutting edge and boss Brendan Rodgers would be delighted to have him available for the derby. source-mirror #louis
