Danielle: Last year at this time, we were still unpacking from Chicago & transitioning into life back at home. We were busy to and from the hospital and in the middle of it all, we were preparing to bring another baby into the world. The holidays were hard because the year before was so much different. The year before, Tayden didnt have cancer. But we kept telling ourselves Next year we will be in a better spot... But were not, and its making the upcoming holidays a little hard again. Dont get me wrong, I am very thankful for how well Tayden is doing and Im very thankful that we get to spend the holidays at home. But I cant help be a little bitter at the same time. No matter how long youve dealt with having a child with cancer, it never gets any easier. Yesterday while with our doctor, we talked about how we can had scans last year right before Christmas. And this year, we w have them again probably a week or two before. Our doctor said Well Im hoping to give you guys good news again this year. We are too. We are hoping that another piece of our miracle is on its way. In the chaos of the holidays, I ask that you continue to pray for Tayden & that you keep him in your daily thoughts. And pray, that our miracle is coming together, one piece at a time. Much Love from Our Home to Yours - The Grohs
