Danielle Zimmerman has outed our recent acquisition so I am forced to elaborate to set the rumors straight. Over the course of the last six months Clark Frogley and I have realized it was time to make some changes and after experiencing more miracles in that time period than in our entire marriage, a house/destiny/ and life found us. Yes, a very special house found us and it was miraculously made mine on my birthday, a gift from Above. Clark and I have always dreamed of having a business in our old age that we work out of our home. We wanted a place that we could do weddings, events, film movies, cook massive meals, have holiday parties, antique shows, host artists, conduct tours, etc. We wanted a place we could share with special people. I want to run a living museum and bonus, I get to live in it. The possibilities are endless with this place. It is breathtakingly magical. I had the idea that the house would work for us. As it is, they get at least three brides calling every month just from word of mouth. It has an amazing history as it was built by steel magnate James L. Laughlin in 1904 as his summer home. Thomas Edison worked on it ( original electric panels are marble) , Andrew Carnegie and other dignitaries visited and it is built like nothing I have ever been in. He used the best craftsmen who used the best materials. We also realized we would be some seriously popular grandparents if we bought a place 30 miles from Disney ( no traffic to get there) so after three months of knowing it was my house and waiting for the miracles to unfold, we bought it last week. I will never check Facebook again as there must be more than 10K window panes in this house that look like they have never been washed. ( thus my phobia of washing windows my whole life) At some point Ill count them. It is a dirty house as the owners are very elderly and had to give up. So, we expect to be popular with friends visiting the theme parks as well. We may see some of you more here than in NY!!! I guess there was no keeping it a secret. My life will be out of Sydonie very shortly. One more year in NYC to get Nicole Frogley graduated and I will likely be down here full time. Clark will be back and forth to NYC. We are relocating our permanent residence and selling our house in upstate NY for Sydonie. Googling her pulls up all sorts of wonderful historical goodies. At any rate, that is the story.
