Danielle wrote--I have severe lower leg pain following a muscle tear going on 16 months ago now and after all these months of chasing it up and abnormal results showing I finally found out the peroneal nerve is ripped out of its fascia and missing in part of the lower leg and I have a neuroma. The deep strangling pain is just awful and I am struggling to find a specialist who will show an interest. At this stage the only way forward I can see to be in somewhat less pain is amputation. I dont know what to do to get this to happen and I feel increasingly desperate and in more pain each day. Official diagnosis is CRPS. I really hope someone out there can offer advice.
