Dann poem of the day: Jest for kids of all ages. Believe it or not, dads were kids once too.... My Dad, He “No’s” Everything My dad, he “no’s” everything, and when I want to build and glue, he says no I could hurt myself, doing the things I want to do. I asked if I could use his tools, to build a huge tree shack, but he said, I’d only fall, and break my neck or back. I said ok, I’ll build a raft, to float on, on the lake, he said, I’d only get so far, before the raft would break. I scratched my head and thought real hard, I’ll build a house for Spot; dad looked at me and rolled his eyes, and said I’d rather that you not. Son, I never let you do the things that you want to, because I know everything, I was a kid just like you… and my scars are far from few. Dann Dioses
