Danny and Council Board members attended a meeting at the A.M.E. Cathedral Church in Jamaica Queens last week. Many high ranking Officers Pct Commanders from Queens Borough South along with our Police Commissioner. This was the Patrol Borough Queens South Community Council Meeting. During the meeting two Officers gave a demonstration on the use of the body Cameras. Two different types were shown, they will be pilot tested within the NYC Boroughs. Six Precincts were chosen and nine Police Officers from each Pct. will be field testing them. Sixty Cameras were ordered for the fifty four Officers, in order to have extras in case of any malfunctioning. The 103rd Pct, located in Queens was one Pct chosen for pilot testing.
