Danny found an iPhone 6 last night. The owner called to ask him are you going to keep it or give it back? Dannys answer give it back of course. When chatting about it I asked him what compelled him the most to give it back when others had said to keep it. He said it was because he would have felt awful for the person whod lost it and he knew how it would make him feel and he didnt want to be responsible for someone elses disappointment/upset. You see, thats empathy right there. Its not about how you can force someone feel it, its not something you particularly teach its something thats shown, all the time through loving and respectful interactions. I made a nice man, which makes me feel all warm and squishy.
