Dans been learning about space at school and this just happened to pop up on my newsfeed. This is an image of our neighbouring galaxy (Andromeda). I say neighbour, its 2 million light years away, that means it would take light 2 million years to get there right? And light travels at 299 792 458 METRES PER SECOND!!!! So, its a long long way away. It brought home to me the vastness of our universe. I love science (although my school exam results did not reflect that) but I fail to believe that all this just happened.....I believe someone caused it to happen, and whats even more amazing is that I have a relationship with that someone....God knows me!
