Dargaville Christmas Parade The Active Attitude Van will be in the Dargaville Christmas Parade (Saturday 7th December) followed by our gymnasts (and any friends they would like to bring along with them). We will get some of our more capable gymnasts to cartwheel down the road; have others twirling ribbons and/or waving as they walk down the road with us. Please let Ashleigh know if your child is keen to attend. The parade commences at 12:00pm and will enter Victoria Street at Nola’s and proceed down to the Central Hotel and return up Victoria Street to finish at the gates of the Taha Awa Riverside Gardens. Assembly Area: 11:00am on Totara Street at the Boating Club – look for the Active Attitude van. Please sign your child’s name on our list when they arrive (as we want to designate a coach or parent to look after them during the parade). What to wear: Active Attitude colours (blue, red, yellow) or you can dress to the theme of Xmas. If kids have got Active Attitude T-shirts or any sort of leotard, then it would be great if they could wear those. We have some red, blue and yellow things that we can dress some of the kids with if they don’t have anything to wear. Don’t forget to be sun smart . We would love your support for this event and to have our gymnasts join us for the parade. The parade will end at the Taha Awa Riverside Gardens Gateway. If there are parents keen to walk with us, we would appreciate your assistance. Please come to the parades designated finishing area to collect your kids…we won’t allow them to go wandering off to find you. If someone is picking them up on your behalf, please let us know.
