Darkness broke my heart A Poem By: Malik Ahmad Mudasir for the Friends of Sachnews Jammu Kashmir When i gazed outside at night I found darkness to fight I asked myself where is the beautiful site ? Where is the mountains height ? Where is the merry childrens diet ? Where does birds spend the night ? Where does the vehicles ride ? An alarming and humming voice came nearer to me and said , Forget not to remind The burning suns ride I put them aside I am the king of night Shining i hide by breaking the site Kingdoms i broke into colonies Creatures i slapped under the mite Transporters i stopped it is my right Hush how cruel is the night ! ? Oh What a painful plight ! Lost hope becoming a poet
