My thoughts and prayers are with Sydney as they face the aftermath of such saddening events. The irony of this awful situation is that it unites people - it unites them in their grief, it unites them in love, it unites them in togetherness. They talk and remember those lost, they hold their loved ones closer, tighter, they reach out to one another offering support and kindness. That is, of course, no comfort to those who are mourning those they have lost, but its a small glimmer of something good, something powerful, something precious, amidst the heartache and grief.
