Darkness isnt a something, it is an absence, longing, and waiting, and searching, to be filled; and the only medicine for that, Sweet Love, is love. Darkness is the absence of light; love is the light that fills it. Passion may run deep, but love will always run deeper. Passion is a mask the ego wears, as a substitute for love. Passion says, This is what I like. This is what I want. This is what I need. Love says, I already have everything I like, and want, and need, right here inside me. Would you like some? I have more than enough to share. Darkness is an absence; the absence of awareness. To live in darkness means, to live, unaware of the light, the love, that lives inside of you. Passion is concerned with wanting to be seen. Love is concerned with wanting to love; not with being loved, but in giving love.
