Darrel Romain Ervin and Shana L Ervin - I *just* received the news via inbox message about Mother Florizel Ervins passing. I am sad to learn of this news. Please share my condolences with your father, Frederick Ervin, and let him know that I am praying for the family. I vividly remember the energy and passion your mother had for her church. She loved FRIENDSHIP MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH. She and your Dad provided on-going encouragement and support during my tenure there. I have to admit, I *loved* Mother Florizels accent and her candor. You NEVER had to guess with Mother Florizel - she told you EXACTLY what she was thinking, without reservation. She gave the best hugs!!!! I will always cherish her memory. If you two are ever in ATL, please look me up! If there is anything I can ever do for you and your family, do not hesitate to let me know. #LoveYouBoth!
