Darrell had occupational therapy tonight. After which he ate his mashed potatoes with gravy. He refused the rest of the meal that the hospital chef prepared for him. However, he did manage to drink a vanilla milkshake! We are going to have that sweet tooth looked at...maybe even pulled! Since we have been here at Florida hospital, south...they have diagnosed Darling Darrell with Diabetes and sleep apnea(sp?). Two things we will certainly be working on soon! I was truly hoping that we would be out of ICU this week.....here for 16 days now.....but it appears that we are not completely out of the woods yet! We are just on the edge...not far from now and maybe we can be in a meadow! Sure hope so! From there it will just be a matter of following the trail home! It cant seem to go by fast enough! Darrell has been blessed by our god and is showing improvement daily! God has shown Darrell favor through out the journey and when we have arrived at the conclusion of this trial Darling Darrell will be sharing his testimony to god with everyone that will listen! I cant wait! Keep the prayers coming they are so important and are heard and felt every moment. Love you all. Thank you for your prayers and positive words of encouragement!
