Darryn Flett Thanks Gareth Campbell. I married my Korean wife in 2010. Then in 2012 Theresa May implemented new drachonian immigration regulations that prevents non EU spouses living in the UK unless they have either 72k cash, no assets, in my case, for my 2 british kids or that i work for 6 months in the uk without my family. However any EU citizen with a non EU spouse can walk in. My wife will not be requiring any benefits even though she cant claim any for 5 years. My 2 children would attend the local primary which is under threat of closure due to lack of numbers also. The only way round it is for british citizens to go and move their family to an EU country for a minimum of 3 months to gain EU citizenship. Anyone who thinks this is reasonable is a complete imbicile. Many of my friends in Korea are in the same boat. Independence will bring with it the chance for Scotland to tailor its policies to be more in line with its needs than that of current Greater Londoncentric regulations.
