Data Warehouse / ETL Developer Lead Description: This position will be providing Oracle database, data modeling/mapping and ETL development, design, and systems analysis on existing and new Enterprise level applications. In this particular role, the ideal candidate would be comfortable performing general application DBA work (i.e. tuning, architecting and building functionality housed on the databases) while partnering closely with more operational DBAs. Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale, data warehouse and data management applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines Will evaluate project requirements and design and implement the most efficient and cost-effective solution. Oversees code quality and verifies consistency with security/compliance policies and standards. Will provide oversight, work direction, and coordination for both analysts and development resources. Data Warehouse (DW) / ETL development lead - responsible for overall technical decisions, code reviews, and technical deliverables on various software development projects. Responsible for sizing of work efforts, designing DW/ETL solutions, and vetting potential software tools Provides oversight of contract and FTE software developers and business systems consultants, including providing work direction, mentoring, and career development assistance Technical liaison between development team, quality assurance groups, project management and lines of business Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of application development and implementation experience Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years industry experience in data warehouse development 3+ years Oracle PL/SQL development writing procedures and functions and general application DBA expe 3+ years data modeling / mapping with specific experience to DW and Operational Data Store (ODS) 3+ years ETL development methodologies Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced development environment for large-scale, performance optimized data management solutions Expertise in data management technologies including database, data modeling/mapping, and ETL methodologies Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Experience with version management software, code merging/branching concepts inbox to: ana.bresciani@intertecintl
