Date Claimer - TRA Consultation Schedule Consultant Peter Matthews will be travelling through Tasmania from 31 Jan to 11 February. Peter will be holding one hour public consultation sessions in the following communities / locations (Venues TBA or as shown and may change pending finalising of venues): • Saturday 1Feb: Cygnet: 10AM at Supper Room Town Hall, Kettering: 2PM • Sunday 2 Feb: Tasman Peninsula 10AM, Sorrell 2PM • Tuesday 4 Feb: Oatlands 6PM • Wed 5 Feb: Swansea 10AM, St Marys 2PM, Avoca 4PM • Thursday 6 Feb: Flinders Island (PM) • Friday 7 Feb: Deloraine 10.30AM, Sheffield 4.30PM at TRAK working arts space, Latrobe 6.30PM at TRA Latrobe • Saturday 8 Feb: Smithton 2PM at Council Meeting Rooms, Queenstown 6PM • Sunday 9 Feb: New Norfolk 12PM (Noon) • Tuesday 11 Feb: Georgetown 10Am The Boat House, Low Head Pilot Station, Low Head Individual half hour sessions are available in the following locations: • Hobart: 31 Jan 9AM -5PM, Feb 3 9AM-5PM; and Tue 4 Feb 10AM-Noon Arts Tasmania, 146 Elizabeth St Hobart • Launceston: Thurs 4 Feb 9AM -2.30PM Venue TBA. • Burnie: 10.30AM – I.30PM Meeting Room Makers Workshop Bookings are essential for one on one sessions as places are limited. Three public sessions are also planned for the following locations: • Hobart: (Date and Venue TBA) • Launceston: Thursday 5 Feb 7PM – 8.30PM (Venue TBA); and • Burnie: 9AM – 10.30AM Saturday 8 February Upstairs Meeting Room, Maker’s Workshop Burnie Tasmanian Regional Arts has commissioned Peter Matthews to undertake a strategic review to inform a refreshed artistic outlook, organisation restructure and revised business plan. The consultant seeks the views of interested individuals, groups and organisations on the role of Tasmanian Regional Arts. Part of the consultation process is an opportunity to submit written responses to the consultant. The submissions will be confidential to the consultant. In his final report, the consultant may draw directly on content of submissions, but the author(s) will not be revealed without their expressed written permission.
