Dear All, We the campus recruitment team of Samsung R&D Institute India Noida (SRI Noida) would like to acknowledge and appreciate the help received from Mr Puneet Sood and Mr Sunil of GP Hamirpur and GP Sundernagar respectively in carrying out the campus recruitment event at GP Hamirpur. In addition to the 25 selections at GP Hamirpur, we also recruited 21 Candidates in GPW Kandaghat (20 of GPW Kandaghat and 1 from GP Rohroo). Hence this year total selections from Himachal is 46. Our total target is of 80 diploma engineers out of which we have recruited 46 (more than half) from Himachal itself. We would also like to mention that through the Government Website, I came to know about Polytechnics of Himachal in year 2012. Since 2012, we have been recruiting 40+ candidates every year, and in our R&D Center, where these diploma candidates get a package of 3.5 LPA + various other benefits like free food and transport, their work as Associate Engineer (Black Box Testing) has won various appreciations including HQ itself. Hence Himachal is our top priority for recruitment of diploma engineers. However, in order to increase this Industry Institute Relationship, I would like to request that students of the upcoming batches be trained in the following areas: 1. Mobile Computing - Basic Knowledge about Mobile System Architecture, Android 2. Software Engineering - Software Development Life Cycle and especially Software Testing 3. Wireless communications - 3G, 4G, bluetooth, WiFi technologies 4. Operating Systems and Digital Electronics 5. Training on Microsoft Excel 2007 or above - its very much required for official purposes. 6. Training for Professional Communication via email. 7. Training for Verbal Communication in English - Samsung being a Multi National and one of the worlds larger conglomerate, people from various countries - Korea, Brazil, Russia, Vietnam etc. are part of our office.
