Dated Prayer Blast Wednesday, June 25, 2014 Several months ago, many of you joined me in praying for my friend Giselles sister, Joyce, who had multiple myeloma. As I shared with all of you, Joyce passed away after a valiant fight with this disease. Our prayers provided great encouragement to both Giselle and Joyce. Of course, this was a great pain for my dear friend Giselle. Whats more, Giselles mom was diagnosed, at the same time, with lung cancer. Now on top of all these events, Giselle called me to tell me that her husband, Earl, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I must tell you that with so many tragedies hitting Giselles life, I told her I felt very helpless as a human, but that when many catastrophes hit us at once, being able to go to the King of the Universe means everything to me and if she and Earl would accept our prayers here in Transformation Garden, we would lift Earl up in prayer as tomorrow he will be having surgery at Mayo Clinic. Giselle emailed me to let me know that they both really needed our prayers for strength and healing. Sometimes I wish I could do more than pray and then someone like my friend Giselle comes along and says, Dorothy, prayer is enough. That is why I called you. I knew you would have all your friends pray for us. I cant begin to thank all of you enough for assisting me in giving the gift of our prayers to so many people who need our love and kindness and heavenly hope in times of distress. Thank you.
