Dateline Washington, DC Today officials in Washington announced further steps to curb rising inflation. Effective immediately, the minimum wage will be eleven dollars and fifty-nine cents an hour. When asked if this would only have the opposite effect, spokesman Willard Brown assured the reporters that it would not. “Prices may rise in an effort to offset the increased costs to employers, but the average working person will now have enough money to pay those prices.”
