Dates & Nuts Squares ... The perfect sweet for winter made by Me.... INGREDIENTS 400 Gms black soft dates 200 Gms red dates 1 cup mix whole nuts( almonds, cashews,pistachios) Poppy seeds as required 1 tbl spoon ghee DIRECTION finely chop dates... Heat ghee in a pan n add in chopped dates... Stir them on low flame till it softens n incorporates itself n leaves pan... Add in whole nuts Take off the flame... Let it cool down for a while.... Now take a plastic sheet...grease it with ghee.. Make square shape rolls...coat them with poppy seeds... Put in a deep freezer forhalf n hour... Take out n cut squares with the help of a sharp knife... Store in refrigerator... Enjoy whenever you want... Notes... You can add cardamom powder to flavour squares... N poppy seeds can be replaced with desiccated coconut....
