Daughters of Zion, in our fast-paced society where everything is expected with a drive-thru mentality, we oftentimes think an intimate relationship with Jesus will develop quickly & cost us nothing. This is not true!!! A relationship with The Father is a process that develops over time and requires action on our part. Our faith is active yet some want bookshelf faith in that we put it on our bookshelves and activate it only in times of need. Our relationship with Our Heavenly Father doesnt develop overnight with no effort on our part. Through time, perseverance, dedication in reading of His Word, and through regular prayer, we can become intimate friends with our God. Thats what He wants for us but is it what we want from Him?
