Daughters of the King Devotional OMG! But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? Romans 10:14 One day I had reached my limit and needed some serious rejuvenation. So I went to get a pedicure and manicure, and as Im sitting in the chair, I see across from me an advertisement for a 30 minute massage for only $12. The massage chair looked comfortable and advanced, and even came with headphones, but I was already sitting in a not-so exciting chair and didnt want to pay extra for something I had never tried. But what if someone had told me, OMG! That 30 minute massage chair is absolutely divine! It may be $12, but its worth hundreds of dollars more! Their testimony would have peaked my interest and I would have given it a try. Many these days are leery of trying anything new. They dont believe God can do what He advertises in His Word. And what has been impossible for them, they automatically assume is impossible for God. Nothing is impossible with God and what has been difficult for you, His grace does perfectly. The reason we need people to believe is because faith will always lead to a life of obedience, while unbelief leads to a life of disobedience. We need more people saying, OMG! I trusted in the Lord and He brought me through it! What an amazing Friend He is, what an awesome Counselor! Wow, God is good! At the heart of preaching is proclaiming who God is, what He has done and what He can do in our lives when we trust Him. Your preaching about Him can persuade someone that doesnt believe to believe. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Upon them hearing the words you speak, the Holy Spirit will begin to activate their faith! You may not be a pastor, teacher or an evangelist, but you are still anointed by God to preach. Tell of His goodness! Tell how He saved you. Tell how He made a way out of no way. Tell how He brought you out and changed you from within! Let Him use you to cause many to believe. Prayer: Yes Lord. I receive Your word in my heart. I believe in You and I pray my faith becomes contagious. Help me be bold, courageous and confident when talking about You. Be glorified in me God. I want to be used by You. In Jesus name, Amen.
