Dave Agema~ Ive been to Mr. Bakers farm. Ive seen his movie Pig Tales and I can say with confidence that we should shrink the DNRs budget, get rid of some of their airplanes, fire a few people and definitely dont allow them to be allowed to determine unfettered what we can hunt. The proposal on the ballot gives them more power- dont vote for it. Vote yes on hunting wolves that have taken out the deer and Elk herds, but dont give the DNR more power. Mr Baker won his case against the state which tried to force him to kill all his pigs or face a huge fine worth several hundred thousands dollars. Why did he win, because the DNR was wrong and out of control. As a former State Rep, I dealt with the DNR on other issues like their aircraft. Im a pilot with over 20,000 hours of flying jet fighters and commercial aircraft and they tried to blow smoke at me as well concerning their need for all their aircraft. They could use Civil Air Patrol, the military etc. and save the tax payers money, but they insist on making their kingdom bigger. We need leaders elected into office that will actually cut bloated government, not expand it. This is a good example of an out of control government agency.
