Dave, Boss at a local Pattaya ( the best ) Bookstore, had the task of hiring someone to fill a job opening. After sorting through a stack of resumes he found four people who were equally qualified, ( IQ above 20 ). Dave decided to call the four in and ask them only one question. Their answer would determine which of them would get the job. The day came and as the four sat around the table of knowledge at Canterbury Tales Cafe, Dave asked the first guy ( Barry an ex pop star), “What is the fastest thing you know of ?” “Barry replied, A THOUGHT. It just pops into your head. Theres no warning.” “Thats very good!” replied Dave. “And, now you Bernard ( Spurs supporter ) “Hmmm...let me see...A blink! It comes and goes and you dont know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of.” Excellent !” said Dave. “The blink of an eye, thats a very popular cliché for Spurs form in the league this season.” He then turned to the third man, (Colin ex head of KGB, still loves Russians ) who was contemplating his reply. “Well, out at my dads property, you step out of the house and on the wall theres a light switch. When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light on the barn comes on in less than an instant. Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of, even faster than me getting my wallet out.” Dave was very impressed with Colins answer and thought he had found his man. “Its hard to beat the speed of light,” he said. Turning to Keef, the fourth and final man, Dave posed the same question. Old Keef replied, “After hearing the previous three answers, its obvious to me that the fastest thing known is DIARRHEA.” WHAT?” said Dave, stunned by the response. “Oh sure”, said Keef. “You see, the other day I wasnt feeling so good, and I ran for the bathroom, but before I could THINK, BLINK, or TURN ON THE LIGHT, I had already shit myself.” Keef is now working at Canterbury Tales Cafe & Bookshop.
