Dave Peckham is in Moscow to sort through and prepare a huge stack of used bikes for shipment to Africa. The Village Bicycle Project (villagebicycleproject.org/) has been sending used bikes and bike parts to Ghana and Sierra Leone since 1999. You can help wrench these bikes into shape for shipment by showing up THURSDAY, May 1st, 4:00pm onward at the old Stuckeys hardware on North Jackson Street (next to Rosauers). No tools or experience are necessary.
