Dave V – Best of the Worst entry I deserve to win the DUI Weight and Trim so I can finally replace the old ammo pouches and manila rope I currently use for a weighting system. After years of use, the canvas pouches are really starting to show their age – WWII was a long time ago! The rope definitely starts to chafe after a while too, but at least it’s worn a groove in my wetsuit which helps to hold it up. I usually tie it on pretty tightly so it’s really not ditchable, but who ever really needs to dump their weight? Besides, half the time it slips out of the wetsuit groove, and ends up on my ankles anyways. I like to keep things exciting and it’s always an adventure when you lose your weights at 100 feet! That new Weight and Trim sure is fancy stuff and it would be a great improvement to my gear. I wouldnt even have to steal the kids lunch money for the upgrade. Vote for me!
