Dave had a kind of out of body experience that all happened within about a 15 second window. He had gone into the barn and turned on the lights. There was little black and white Lily next to the horse trailer. Rhodie appeared from nowhere, and rushed in to grab Lily. In the ensuing explosion, the smell hit Dave simultaneously with the realization that Lily wasnt there, and Rhodie was rubbing her face into the ground and making strange noises while the black and white Lily impostor ran under the trailer. Tick, who wasnt involved at all, REALLY didnt want to go to bed with Rhodie in their pen. And Dave wasnt welcome in the house until he had stripped out of his smelly clothes. None of us even wants to go out to the barn this morning.
