David Bialski from Knowles Animal Hospital called me last night and started yelling and accusing me of telling his employees that they should be fired and then he was saying that the cat is a stray and not under my organization. When he said that the cat is just a stray and under their care, I explained to him that everything was set up with Lori from the beginning when Piper arrived and that she asked me to approve the estimate of work for Piper and to text her with my approval which happened. He continued to deny that this cat is ours and went on and on about how dare me and my team threaten to have anyone fired. I know I never said those words to Knowles staff or anyone for that matter. I was worried because even though I know that I have an estimate with Undercats4Life name on it and even received texts that same day asking to authorize additional services, etc… that it was proof that Piper was ours but couldn’t even think of this place trying to use this innocent cat who has endured so much already and my only goal was to make sure Piper was safe and with us. I said to him that I never told his staff they should get fired and was polite with his office staff and the only thing I requested is that to have any media or anyone calling wanting to adopt to contact Undercats4Life and to correct the name because I have been getting numerous people questioning and confused as to what is really going on with the name situation. None of the above happened and continuous media stories were not providing correct info and although the only important thing to me was that Piper was fine and still the only thing I am focused on. People were calling Knowles to make payments against our account for Piper and that is what everyone was being told but when they would see the media stories and call in to make payments or paypal to Knowles, the information was not the same and it caused much confusion and I had to explain to each and every one continuously. Although I never did anything wrong, I apologized. I apologized because of Piper. I don’t apologize for doing something I never did but the life of Piper is all that matters to me and his safety and wellness. I have never experienced anything like this before and being yelled at in the way he was yelling at me was just ugly and wrong in so many ways. Piper is alive and with us and that is all that matters. Our vet is Dr. Eileen Osti at Pet Doctor of Davie, she is outstanding and her clinic is immaculate and will receive the absolute best care going forward. He is doing great btw!! If it wasn’t for the Fire Departments, Venom Unit, Public Works, Roto Rooter, Walgreens getting their contractors out and willing to dig up the entire parking lot if needed and everyone else then this day wouldn’t be happening. Thanks to the media for being out there during this rescue mission also. Everyone on Facebook who picked up the phone, sent emails, and were praying and rooting for Piper this whole time YOU were another reason this all happened
