David Cameron is a brilliant salesman. But in his forthcoming election campaign remember that when he brings up the Unions ruining the country, that the Unions fight for the rights of people who actually do a days work considering lots of political rhetoric is regarding those that dont do a days work. To follow on from that, remember that the reason why most people have a weekend to enjoy after a solid 40 hours labour is because the unions fought for and won that right for working people and that unions while not agreeable to everyone, exist to help out the working person, at least in a company with other staff members they can team up with. Remember when Cameron says the country is moving swimmingly in the right direction with his mate George Osborne, remember all of the food banks that are popping up because the poorest in our society are being pushed towards the poverty line and have to reduce themselves to picking up food bags while Tory associates and MPs excuse them of stealing food. Remember that after 4/5 years of their Government that they want to continue and persist with austerity which is more and more and more cuts to money that goes towards community projects and people in each locality which effects all of us while all of the front bench of the Conservative party are all millionaires and not suffering the same, despite apparently being in it all together. Remember that one of their top unelected staff is of the opinion... announced at their own political party conference.... that disabled people should work for less than the minimum wage . Remember that they are shelving off the NHS to private companies and refusing to give their employees an inflation rate pay rise and have forced some of our greatest NHS staff into the first walk out they have undertaken in 32 years and the first strike that midwives have ever entered into. Remember that while forcing this situation upon us, that they came together en masse with all the other parties (thats all of them, Labour as well) to vote themselves for an 11 percent pay rise for all MPs while most working people are seeing their wages frozen. So remember when you see flashy David Cameron banging his drum over the next few weeks and months as he attempts reelection as Prime Minister and no doubt performs a brilliant bullying routine in the House of Commons, that he has done well, but while he might appear polished in comparison to the lacklusture Ed Miliband hes hardly leading a party that promotes equality between the masses. Infact hes doing a great job of glossing over all of that shit. And if youre about to tell me Labour are exactly the same, Im not voting for them either.
