David DeBest and I have both been nominated for the ALS ice water challenge. Dave was nominated by Denise Walsh, Abby Walsh, Grace Walsh and Barry Hecht. I was nominated by Ethan Hecht (Michelle Whitman Hecht). Because I was nominated more than 24 hours ago; and because of my personal first hand experience caring for patients with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and watching helplessly as this cruel disease destroys the body while leaving the mind unaffected, I am opting for the $100 donation to the ALS. Dave ,since he was nominated by multiple times will pour not one but two buckets of ice water over his head. Plus, as my designated healthcare proxy, one of those buckets is on my behalf ;) We now nominate Michelle Whitman Hecht.
