David Moyes Wants to Bring in 8 New Players in the Summer By Simon McIntyre 05 March 2014 4,434Reads9Comments Manchester United manager David Moyes is understood to want up to eight new signings as he conducts an overhaul of his squad this summer, according to the Daily Mail. Nemanja Vidic and Anderson are confirmed to be leaving and there are doubts over the futures of Rio Ferdinand, Shinji Kagawa, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Patrice Evra and star striker Robin van Persie. These departures would leave Moyes with a very thin squad which would need major additions before the 2014-15 season. This will leave the Scottish manager with a nightmare over the summer as players will be away at the World Cup and Moyes may have to deal with the logistics of Europa League qualifiers in July. Manchester United likely wont have the pulling power of Champions League football, but could still afford some of the best players around. The under-fire Moyes can ill afford another poor transfer window as his United side prepare for life without a few of the regulars who won last years league title. Toni Kroos has been heavily touted with a move to Old Trafford, but has reportedly put off talks with Bayern Munich until after the World Cup. Countless other targets such as Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan, William Carvalho, Alex Song and Mehdi Benatia have been reported in the media as potential targets for Manchester United. Whoever United sign this summer, David Moyes faces a huge challenge to rebuild his squad, get back among the top four in the league and save his job before its too late. נקווה שהלחץ ייעשה את שלו...
