David N. Pepperell has posted a language warning. He pointed out that it is inappropriate to use the word twat on Facebook because it is the word that Brits use for..... how shall we say....? A ladys front bottom Sometimes discreetly named the C word. I used it today because a young chap living in England called me a twat and I replied with the same word embellished with a few colourful adjectives. It reminded me of the poem by John Cooper Clarke, the title of which is the last word of the piece. Its an insulting little ditty The last two verses go like this : Your dirty name gets passed about when something goes amiss. Your attitudes are platitudes, They make me wanna piss. What kind of creature bore you? Was is some kind of bat? They can’t find a good word for you, but I can... TWAT See now, you can get away with disgusting language if you use it in the context of a creative pursuit. As is displayed in this Christmas song by the Girl Group with very proper and posh accents. Have a listen to them. Theyre called Fascinating Aida
