David Schmoeller with the magnanimous and magnificent film and theatre director STUART GORDON on the stage set of REANIMATOR, THE MUSICAL which plays for six more shows at the Smith Center. Stuart started his career directing David Mamet plays in Chicago and exploded on the film scene when he wrote & directed the feature film REANIMATOR which won a key award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1985 and the film was launched onto the world. He has now translated this Cult Classic to the stage with great success. Stuart and I made many films together on adjoining stages at the Empire Studios in Rome, Italy in the 1980s. It was so great catching up with him at the Smith Center.
