David Suber, young Marine, and his CASD Maddie are working - TopicsExpress

David Suber, young Marine, and his CASD Maddie are working joyfully and diligently together toward their certification. A few short weeks ago we introduced the POST command in which the dog acts as a protective barrier by stationing in front of the handler. Here David & Maddie demonstrate perfection. David has no qualms about describing how having Maddie in his life has changed his existence: In his own words he states 1. he has more self control 2. he has developed elevated awareness 3. he has no fear of new situations 4. he can go everywhere, and regularly visits his gym, local restaurants, the mall, Broadway at the Beach, Home Depot, Walmart, and other venues 5. having Maddie post allows him to tale to complete strangers comfortably 6. he can finally sleep, where he slept only 1-2 hours a night before 7. he has no more fear of nightmares because he knows Maddie will wake him up 8. he has reduced his anxiety medication by half 9. he has a new outlook, and is excited to do new things 10. he has developed renewed relationships with his family PRETTY GOOD START, RIGHT? We congratulate David for the work ethic, personal courage, and inner strength he has shown in mastering his service dog techniques. We are exceptionally proud to have him on our team, and all of us at CASD are honored to have had a part in this renaissance in his life with Maddie.
