David Wing (31), Tom Hewitt (22) and Tim Hall (31) three committed football fans have decided to combine their love of the beautiful game with fundraising for the NSPCC, by setting themselves a tough challenge – visiting all 20 Premier League grounds in a 24 hours! The three, who are employees of Barclays Bank in Shirley, will be taking it in turns to drive the impressive 1,250 miles between pitches on Saturday 31 August. They’ll need to maintain an average speed of 50mph to score their goal! The team will be taking photos outside each ground to prove they were there – but sadly won’t get to see any football.
