David and I had dinner tonight at Frisches in Norwood, and I swear that the weirdest thing happened...All blacks that entered were seated on the far right back side of the restaurant, and around the perimeter of the wall, and all whites were seated in the middle by the salad bar, or in the sun room only! Two young black ladies came in with their children and were crammed into a tiny corner booth. One of the ladies took her son and walked to the sunroom to see if there was any seating. She then returned to her table in the corner and asked the server if they could be moved to the sunroom, and the server replied that there were no servers to wait on them over there, so the young ladies reply to that was, that there were people already sitting over there being served! At that time our server says to the young lady that she was sorry but they could not sit over there??? Now, we frequent this location quite often and this is the first time Ive ever seen anything like this happen! Our server was a blonde girl, and she noticed me looking around every time someone was seated in one section or the other, so she nervously kept coming to the table asking were we alright and could she do anything to make us more comfortable?! Eventually she brought our check and we rang out. That entire experience was the weirdest thing Ive encountered in a while!!!
