David, one our happy customers sent through these great images of his recent installation. You will notice David has his racks higher than most installations. When we asked David why he had set them so high he wrote We opted to have them at the higher height so we can walk between the car and the bikes. With the bikes at the higher height we don’t catch our shoulders on the handle bars. I guess it’s OK to have them at a higher height for road bikes but it would be more difficult for a mountain bike. Swinging out the rack to get the bike on or off is the bonus in the tight space. It would be a lot harder to get the bike up if the bracket didn’t swing. Having used a number of different bike racks I am really happy with the Steadyrack as I see it as being very versatile Great work David, thanks again for sharing and becoming part of Steadyrack community.
